L & R Longarm was founded in 2019 by Laurie and Robin Dickson, a husband-and-wife team. After retiring from nursing, Laurie finally had the chance to pursue quilting—following in the footsteps of her grandmother, a talented quilter. With the unwavering support of Robin, a Navy veteran and volunteer firefighter who’d been sewing all of his life, the pair decided to embark on this exciting journey together and have been making custom quilts and sewn crafts ever since!
